This site was created to document my progress on the construction and assembly process of the future Amateur Homebuilt Experimental Aircraft N107KW, a Rans, Inc. model S-6S (Super Six) Coyote II Taildragger

The photo above shows the Super Six demonstrator I was fortunate enough to fly during a visit to the Rans factory at Hays, KS in mid-August, 2002.  My half-hour or so flight in N91898 was the 'deal-maker' as I had yet to decide upon the landing gear configuration before my visit.

During this 'adventure', I hope to utilize the experience and wisdom of the manufacturer, my local EAA Chapter 21 members and other builders, particularly those who have gone the 'Rans Route' such as those previously on theRANSlist and more recently, the new RANSflyers group at Yahoo! and others I've met to make the process as problem free as possible.

I still can't believe I actually 'get' to do this!
