Parts...complete - Finally some assembly work! 12/21/02 - I finished parts count today after a couple of hit and miss attempts during the evenings last week and began a little assembly work this evening. My 'small parts board' (all 50˛´of it) before starting work:

It's been just over four months since I visited the Rans factory in mid-August and placed my order, so after completing inventory I was very gratified to actually get started building my Coyote. I began the assembly process this evening by searching for the misplaced wear plate for nearly TWO HOURS (finally located with parts that I had re-wrapped in kraft paper after I had gone through the trouble of taping over ALL the part labels in wrapped lots so NOTHING would be lost...sheesh!). I was working on floorboard pre-fit by doing some riveting (my first attempt at this) and drilling to fit the floorboard, wear plate and rudder pedals, then called it a night. No more work until after Christmas! Happy holidays everyone! |
