Wings...rib clips

06/29/03 - Today I was able to get out to the shop for about three hours and got a good start on drilling and riveting the rib clips to the rib ends.

Each set of wing ribs has a fore and aft clip which attaches to the spar and each end of the top and bottom side ribs ultimately gets four 1/8" rivets, so that's 16 rivets (and their associated holes) which is a bit time consuming but not really difficult at all if you keep things aligned.

I was able to finish six of the nine ribs on my right side wing today and will try to get the other three finished tomorrow evening.
