Elevator control established! 04/20/03 - Today I was able to install the tail section cables and the elevator control assembly which consists of installing the elevator push/pull tube and yoke then tying it in with the elevator horns and control stick assembly. According to the manual, I have to cut a couple of templates used to set up/down stops for elevator, then I am ready to move on to the next phase (wings!) which will complete the basic airframe construction and assembly process, but of course there's still trial assembly, covering, painting, engine installation, etc., etc., etc., so I may yet finish before the end of the year. ;^) I have to return to work tomorrow as my vacation is pretty much officially over now, but it's been a GREAT WEEK!
